Born in Burgundy, but inspired by the diverse flavours of the world, Chef Laurent Peugeot has spent years travelling the world, including years of journeying through Japan and Southeast Asia. Immersing himself in the culinary culture of the region, Chef Laurent has concocted his own unique hybrid of French and Asian cooking which has earned him a stellar, international reputation – and some Michelin stars.  

Chef Laurent is the owner and Chef of Le Charlemagne restaurant, located in Burgundy, France, and has also established numerous restaurants throughout France and Southeast Asia. With its unique synergy of French and Japanese influences, Le Charlemagne in Pernand Vergelesses was awarded one Michelin star in 2006; an accolade which it has proudly held it to this day.
